Examination of the information he released to The Economist, The Guardian UK, and New York Times show that Assange was responsible

~“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~Benjamin Franklin

It seems that Julian Assange of WikiLeaks got himself in trouble for believing that lies and cheating and causing death and mayhem need to be examined in the light of day and those responsible be called out on it. The forces at work to destroy Julian Assange have tried to paint him as irresponsible, someone that is causing great harm to the cause of freedom and helping the enemies of the west. If that were the case, and it isn't in my opinion, then Assange would deserve to be prosecuted and jailed. What we have instead is a witch hunt and I doubt that they will bring him to trial because in the hands of a skilled lawyer who knows what information would be discussed to show that he was being a responsible journalist while embarrassing major players in the world of politics and diplomacy.
Examination of the information he released to The Economist, The Guardian UK, and New York Times show that Assange was responsible and careful and no one has died as a result of what he has released. Quite the contrary thousands of people have died due to the irresponsibility, lies, deception of American policy, both Afghanistan and American lives. Assange is that rare breed of man, he is an idealist and a whistle blower. "Assange has stated in interviews that what he envisions is a world where corruption is minimized and corporations and governments that operate in ethical and legal ways are rewarded, while those that break laws and ethics codes are exposed and prevented from thriving." He may be naive but he has ethics. The charges leveled at him are lies and distortions designed to cover for the embarrassment of the disclosures that show our leaders and politicians to be less honorable, dishonest and corrupt. Instead of taking the high road they took the low road and chose to discredit him and worked with corporate entities to shut down one of his servers and stop his access to Master Card payments to him. Of course Master Card will still put through donations to the Klu Klux Klan, they are just a hate group. It's a good read and worth the time.
