This is democracy for sale to the highest bidder.

Fascism should be more properly be called corporatism, since it is the merger of state and corporate power.
Benito Mussolini (1883 - 1945)

The truth can be a painful thing. Security my ass, the security screening at airports is all about big business buying our government to make a profit. NOT, I repeat NOT our security. We have the best government that money can buy. If a company that sells proctological probes decided to invest in persuading congress that the traveling public would be safer if examined internally and was willing to spend about a hundred million dollars in lobbying congress and willing to donate enough to the campaigns of enough congressmen and senators, especially Republicans, guess what? The TSA would be insisting that it is necessary to have a proctological exam before boarding a plane. The TSA would be required to stick a probe up your ass regardless of age or sex. That is exactly what is happening right now with the full body scanners. These corporate scum bags are getting rich exposing you to radiation and if you refuse to have your ball radiated they will grope them and make you feel uncomfortable. This is democracy for sale to the highest bidder.

A Thanksgiving Day thought.
A note on Thanksgiving. It is a unique American holiday although our Canadian neighbors to the north also celebrate a Thanksgiving. One group that may not celebrate Thanksgiving is native Americans. They got fucked by the arrival of the white man to North America. The history of the settlement of America is a story of misery, exploitation and genocide against native Americans. While I am thankful for the life I have and for the blessings of America, it is not lost on me the price paid by the indigenous people. Today must be a sad day in their history, not one of Thanksgiving but one of sorrow.

Thanksgiving: Celebrating The Genocide Of Native Americans

Hey Tom you are going to become Bubba's bitch.

Sending the Hammer to the Slammer
Tom DeLay’s money-laundering conviction is a holiday gift to liberals—and a reminder to the House’s new ruling Republicans of how power can corrupt.
