An America that Rush Limbaugh would be proud of.

“In every age 'the good old days' were a myth. No one ever thought they were good at the time. For every age has consisted of crises that seemed intolerable to the people who lived through them.”
~Brooks Atkinson

I wonder if your friends, like mine, like to look back nosltalgicly to the past when America was a safer, better place. My friends like to send me these photos of family outings, Coney Island in the summer, lines at the movies for the latest greatest hit. It seems that the late 40's, 50's and early 60's were the days when America was great. Cars, clothes, girls, innocence, an America free of the liberals. An America where everyone knew their place and everyone was god fearing and law abiding. We had a smaller government, something that the Tea Party wants to get back too. We had less interference by the federal government. How good was that? So I decided to put my little collection of memorable photos from those wonderful days. A trip down memory lane of a better time in America, a Tea Baggers paradise. When they had their country, before it was taken away from them by cry baby liberal do-gooders. An America that Rush Limbaugh would be proud of.
"Last night on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show, Rand Paul reiterated his position that he would have opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act and that businesses should have the right to discriminate based on race. Earlier this week, Joe Sonkareported for ThinkProgress that Paul, citing “fair[ness] to the business owner,” would also like to abolish the Americans with Disabilities Act." Let us return to those good old days with out the Civil Rights Act. Rand Paul, what a guy, a Tea Bagging, Tea Party hero.

The Immoral Minority

What do you get when you cross the NRA, Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck? Well besides a possible brain aneurysm you also get a pretty entertaining Countdown segment.

Oops! Another GOP family values guy with feet of clay. Following in the footsteps of "Sen. John Ensign's (R-Nev.) scandal. That came to light around the same time as Gov. Mark Sanford's (R-S.C.) sex scandal, which came soon after Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-Nev.), which itself followed Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho).

If we look back a little further, we also find disgraced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani. If go back a little more, names like Vito Fossella, Tim Hutchinson, Henry Hyde, Dan Burton, and Bob Livingston also come to mind. And those are just the office-holders." Political Animal Another 'family-values' Republican resigns after sex scandal
