Hate media personalities Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and televangelist Pat Robertson were repudiated by President Bush

“Compassion is the desire that moves the individual self to widen the scope of its self-concern to embrace the whole of the universal self.”
~Arnold Toynbee, (English Economic Historian and social reformer, 1889-1975)

Republican Scott Brown's senate campaign in Massachusetts generates ugliness. One of Brown's supporters screamed "shove a curling iron up her butt" in reference to his Democratic opponent Martha Coakley. It has become a dirty campaign. Brown's campaign seems to have galvanized the nut cases and maybe that is what the Conservative Right has become, ugly crazy people. This is when the Democrats, Liberals, women, moderates, people of color and the young people have to get out and send a message that the forces of intolerance, racism, corporate interests and special interests can't have it all their own way.

Hate media personalities Rush Limbaugh, Fox's Glenn Beck and televangelist Pat Robertson were repudiated by President Bush who supported President Obama's swift aid to Haiti. I guess the voices of hate got their wires crossed. The backlash has been loud and clear. People all across America are responding to the catastrophe with their dollars and their prayers. The purveyors of hate and intolerance underestimated the decency of the American people and have come under an avalanche of criticism for their callousness and hate.
