If the anti-abortion movement took a tenth of the energy they put into noisy theatrics and devoted it to improving the lives of children who have been born into lives of poverty, violence, and neglect, they could make a world shine. ~Michael Jay Tucker, author
Women have always been second class citizens to the Conservatives White agenda and their bodies are not their own. If it was up to Conservatives women still wouldn't have the vote. It is white conservative men deciding what women can and cannot do with their bodies. It is time that the women's movement in America speaks up and takes a stand to defend their rights to choose, they have to stop the Stupak Amendment. Women are in no way second class citizens and if this amendment is allowed to stand that is what they become. To their credit the Democratic women representatives in the house were out spoken in opposition to the Stupid, oops there I go again, I meant the Stupak Amendment; it should be called the Stupid Amendment. This is a fight that women across America need to win.
