-Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890 - 1969)
This is an rare moment but I find that I am in agreement with the opinion of some Right wing media. The issue is the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. I agree that he should be tried by a military tribunal and not in a civil court. The precedent has existed since World War Two, and to have him come to New York City for trial is just unnecessary. His trial in New York City would be an insult to the memory of the deceased and their families. I don't want to see him in New York with defense attorneys pleading his case and ultra liberals wringing their hands that he be given every consideration and he is innocent until proven guilty. A military tribunal would try him under the military code of justice, and while the military justice has a narrower scope than the civil courts, he would be represented by council and have a fair trial and justice would be served. Then they can hang the bastard!
Just so my critics don't think I have gone soft I would like to quote the king of hate speech, Michael (sewer mouth) Savage . It is hard to believe he eats with that mouth. "Don't you understand what's a stake? ...Don't you understand the sick perverts [homosexuals] are killing all of us? ...unless this is stopped, unless the gay agenda is curtailed... you're not gonna have your own children eventually... your father would have taken a day off from pipe fitting and he would have gone in there with blood in his eyes... he would have gone crazy! ...That's how deballed you are, you're like a department store dummy most of you." This is one sick demented puppy. The fact that he is given air time on a major radio staten in a major market is a testimony to the diversity and tolerance of Americans. That they can let this bigoted, homophobe preach his hate filled ideas is a victory and test of free speech. Personally I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
Sarah Palin's new book is out, I can hardly wait, not. It is a waste of trees. Listening to Conservatives speak you would think she had a PhD from Harvard when the opposite is true. She struggled to get her B.A. and took six years to do it and at four different colleges. This is not what leadership is about. This woman has a simplistic view of the world and simplistic approach to domestic issues.
