Sen. Joe Leiberman (I-CN) Who has received over a million dollars for his campaigns from the health insurance companies has been bought and paid for

“Politicians are a set of men who have interests aside from the interests of the people and who, to say the most of them, are, taken as a mass, at least one long step removed from honest men
- Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States

We are known by the good or evil we do. Most men do a little good in the world, raise a family, help a charity and are good neighbors. All men do a little evil in the world, either by acts of cruelty to a fellow human being or thoughtless actions that hurt others. Decent men are haunted by the evil they do and hope and prey that the good they have done has out weighed the evil.
One great evil is to break a trust whether it is betrayal in friendship or marriage or the betrayal of those less fortunate. Even within an evil there may be a part of the act that is good. But to commit an evil against society when we are given a the trust of the many, especially the poor, the working class, the hopeful and those who dispair for a better life and struggle every day to survive is cruel and evil.
Elected office is a great trust that the many have placed into the hands of the few, it is a chance to do great good. If a position is disagreed with and there are differences it is to be accepted, but when an elected official takes money from corporations who will be effected by their decisions and then acts in their behalf, that is Betrayal big time. The health insurance industry benefit at the price of the suffering of those depending on them. When a politician takes their money and does their bidding that hurts the many and deprives them of their hope, that is a great evil.
We see it in our government. Elected officials who betray the trust of the people for the interest of the few. Democrats against the public option, a betrayal of trust and hope for MONEY from health insurance industry. They sellout the people for MONEY to help them get reelected as that is what they truly are about, not the good they may do.
These are the Democrat Betrayers, they are guilty of evil against the peoples trust and hopes.

Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA)
Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC)
Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND)
Senator Max Baucus (D-MT)
Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.)
Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.)
We all understand that the Republicans are bought and paid for by the big corporations and are elected by the uninformed, the misled and those poor souls that think the Republicans really give a damn about them. Lastly is Sen. Joe Leiberman (I-CN) who has received over a million dollars for his campaigns from the health insurance companies has been bought and paid for. Joe you just don't care for the people, you betrayed them again. You are a vile, despicable, hypocrite, you have sold your office.

It appears that the house will settle for a weak public option. Another sellout to the health insurance industry. What do Americans have to do to get a government that is not corrupted by corporate cash? Basically the government is bribed by the MONEY.

"Blue Cross sends to it's customers notice of an 11% increase in premiums, while at the same time sending a notice to customers to oppose the public option. Yea, screw the people and have them approve the screwing.

"Blue Cross extorts more money from their customers with one hand with an 11% rate increase – they do control a whopping 53% of the market in North Carolina after all [pdf], and 98% of the individual market and billions in reserve dollars, so they can get away with that kind of thing – and with the other, tries to enlist these same customers to fight against something that would Blue Cross’s rates and profits."
